Mount Timpanogos Temple (S Giclée) #24

The Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple is built on a parcel of land that was once part of a Church welfare farm. Built to ease crowding in the Provo Utah Temple (the world’s busiest temple), the Mount Timpanogos Temple is a twin of the Bountiful Utah Temple. The temple takes its name from the uniquely shaped mountain that looms majestically over Utah County. The Mount Timpanogos Temple is actually located on the border of American Fork and Pleasant Grove in northern Utah County, which is why it is not named for the city in which it is built. More than 10,000 people lined nearby streets to watch as crews worked to lift the statue of the angel Moroni into place atop the temple’s spire.
